So much potential...

Great app especially for diabetic people trying to count carbs and get insulin dosing right according to th amount of carbs eaten. There has obviously a HUGE amount of work put into this, the way photos have been taken of various sizes of meals (eg slide the slider up and down to add or remove roast potatoes from your plate and get the appropriate carb values). HOWEVER the app has not been updated since its 1.0 release in 2011 and seems to have quite a severe bug, which is that you cant enter anything into the search field if the phone is being used in personal hotspot mode. I tried to contact the developers through their website but never got an acknowledgement or reply. Its puzzling that such a great app would be left as abandonware effectively.
